We have faith in education and learning opportunities for every person. That’s why Maxwell University programs’ are made to work for our students regardless of level of experience, previous grades or degrees. It’s our main concern to ensure that our post-secondary online education is available and flexible, so our admission procedure accepts undergraduate students to a program as long as they pass the minimum age limit of 16 years of age.

Maxwell University welcomes applicants for undergraduate studies from a wide variety of educational backgrounds. To meet the criteria as an undergraduate student, you must be 16 or older. No other conditions apply, while a select range of programs does need previous education to enroll.

English Language Proficiency

If your native language is not English, you must prove English Language Proficiency (ELP) to take Maxwell University courses. MU accepts the following as proof of English Language Proficiency:

  • Completion of high school in an English-speaking country.
  • Completion of 15 university credits from a recognized English-speaking university, or 1 year at a non-university post-secondary institution with an overall average of 75% (GPA of 3.0).
  • Minimum score of 6 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
  • Minimum score of 59 on the Pearson Test of English (PTE).
  • Minimum score of 213 on the computer- or paper-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL PBT), with 4.5 on the Test of Written English (TWE).
  • Minimum score of 80 with an essay score of 20 on the Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT).

Transfer Credit

If you have credentials from an institution outside of the United States and you would like MU to consider them for transfer credit, you need to contact us.
